Meet the Team

Katelyn Ewing

Hey there, sister! I’m Katelyn, and I currently live in Trussville, AL with my servant-hearted husband, Connor, and my Diabetic Alert Dog, Mayer (like John). I love to create new things in the kitchen (hello, postpartum meal recipes), spend time on the water, and watch Christmas movies year-round.

You can find me serving in all capacities that are listed on the Services page, as well as investing my time into student midwifery. Some may say I’m diving head-first into the fertility realm, and I absolutely am, because it’s a passion that flows from spirit-led desires.

I want to build a legacy of bold belief in a mother's strength - especially when it comes to birth. I believe that with the power of our Creator, proper nourishment, and the desire to make sure others know they are seen and loved - we can change the heart of families everywhere. As a society, we don't know enough about birth, and we can't honor something we don't understand. Birth has become a medical procedure rather than a sacred and spiritual experience, and I want to be part of bringing education and sovereignty back into the birth space and family dynamic. Our women and all generations of women to come deserve teams of care that believe in and trust the power of their body to do what it was created to do.

Abigail Cody

Hi, I’m Abigail. I am so happy you are here! I get the honor and privilege of serving as a Warred for Wellness doula and postpartum meal service provider.

I currently live in Weaver, AL, with my husband, Josh, and German Shepherd, Indi. I am a mother to an angel baby and a follower of Christ. I am a lover of all things wellness, books, long walks, the beach, and quality time.

I like to believe my journey to birth work began at a very young age. I remember being so fascinated by my mom through her pregnancies with my siblings. Any time someone would share their birth story, my ears never failed to perk up and listen. I was even more excited when I got to watch their birth video. My fascination and reverence for birth has only deepened. What was once a simple interest has turned to a passion for walking alongside mothers in their journey to bring their miracle of life into the world. As a doula, my desire is for you to be seen, heard, & supported in your individual and intimate birth experience.

Your birth can and should be specific to you! There are so many voices that tell women what the journey of bringing life into the world should look like. I believe that as a mother, you should be the one to set the tone for your birth experience. With evidence-based information, support & encouragement, you can make knowledgeable decisions on what that looks like for you!

Q: How would the people that love you describe you?
